As part of my Masters level Human Centred Design class, our team collaborated with UHN Toronto Rehabilitation Institute to conceptualize a product tailored for individuals managing type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Employing a comprehensive approach, we conducted user and stakeholder interviews, utilized personas, participant photo diaries, and conducted thorough secondary research to deeply understand the challenges within the problem domain. Drawing insights from user need statements, our team collectively ideated and ultimately proposed the development of a specialized mattress catering to the unique needs of individuals living with diabetes.
